God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Switch.
Switch from you thinking mind
to your divine heart.
You will speak differently
and think differently.
You will sound different
and feel different.
Stay in this dimension of your
consciousness all day.
When you notice you have
left your heart behind,
gently readjust.
Intellect,instinct, and all manner
of knowing are best served when
filtered through a heart aligned with me.
When this is done, wisdom flows.
Light shines on all,
rendering all holy and blessed.
Take on a Christ consciousness.
Become a true representation of my love.
Switch.
Open your divine heart
and watch what happens.
Evening Reflection
Those last lines about all being holy and blessed kind of threw me.
Awful things happen all over our beautiful planet: wars, freak accidents, terminal illnesses, and brazen attacks on unsuspecting people. I know our world is not all sweetness and light. It can be dangerous and scary. So what of this light shining on all, rendering it holy and blessed,
The genius of God is that God views all creation and all things in it as holy. And, although it may be hard for most of us to see, everything is ultimately blessed and uplifted. This can only be because God works all things for good, even the bad things, the tragic things, the worst of the worst. In my experience, the worst occurrences have at the very least taught me to appreciate when things are not at their worst; in other words, I have learned to appreciate the goodness of life and the good things in life.
The crazy thing is that we can experience the paradox of crying and laughing at the same time. We can experience sadness and joy at the same time. We can complain and count our blessings at the same time. This is where I think the guidance is heading: Love triumphs. Why? Because the presence of God is over all.
If we connect to this truth and let it sink in, then we grow to understand that there is nothing that is not blessed. There is nothing that cannot bless and uplift us, with God’s help.
That is how great God is. That is how powerful divine love is.

God, what do you want me to say and do today?

God, what do you want me to say and do today?
Let life come to you.
Don’t press.
Allow everyone to be where they are
and the way they are today.
It is all right.
Let it be okay today.
Allow the perfection of the day
to include the perfect imperfections.
Rest from all effort the change,
control, or manipulate.
It will be okay without your input.
Just ride the day.
Relax.
Let things flow.
And you?
Just float along.
You will know what to say and do
in each moment,
for I am along for the ride,
whispering in your ear.
I hope you don’t mind the company.

God what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Say I love you
with your eyes,
your words,
your heart,
and your actions.
No matter what you are
really feeling,
say and think,
I love you anyway.
That is all you need to do today.
The rest will come.
Will you do this?
Today?
All day?
Evening Reflection
To think, say, and show I love you all the time? Now if everyone could do that, I think it would be a different world. To spend even a day living this is quite the challenge. To spend days, or weeks, or years living out just this guidance would be enough to take one to the highest heights of maturity and spiritual growth.
But this guidance is for a day. It is practice.
How did you do?

God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
You have begun well…
by asking.
Continue to ask today,
in each encounter, event, and circumstance.
It takes only a moment’s intent.
Divine communication is much quicker than human thought or words spoken.
Feel my answers within you.
Today we will dance.
You move…
I move…
We move…
together.
So keep asking
and watch the dance unfold-
each step revealed
and taken easily and joyfully,
even the difficult ones.
Ask and dance,
Ready?
Evening Reflection
It has been my experience that sensing and following subtle direction from deep within yields a far better outcome than going with my own thinking. Even if I cannot really know what the outcome would have been had I chosen a different action, I do know when I have followed the inner leading. And it is there, in that space, that life asks, Do you want to dance?
Dancing is a partnership. Even dancing alone is usually in relationship with music. In terms of dancing with Spirit, the question is, Do I want to live in relationship with Spirit, or try to do it all myself?
I can feel the difference when Spirit emanates from within. There is an excitement that comes from recognizing the living, person-specific guidance of God. When I feel the excitement born of that recognition, I know it is wise to go with it. I don’t have to, of course, but there is a reason for this inner excitement. I have had many experiences of not going with the feeling in my gut and having things not work out that otherwise may have-if I had just followed my gut. (I have come to understand my gut as God-Using-Tummy to get me a message.)
How was your dance with Spirit today?
