God, what would you have me do, say and be like today?

God, what would you have me do, say and be like today?
Be the light of the world!
Consciously emanate the divine within you.
Let it shine out of every pore
with constancy and sureness.
Remember you are never forsaken.
It is not possible.
Breathe deeply and glow.
Draw on the power of the universal Christ spirit within you.
Transform darkness with a look, a touch,
or a good word as the opportunity presents.
Intend love in all you do and say.
Fear nothing.
See beauty.
Shine.
You are the light of the world.
Enjoy the glow of your own being today.
Shine!

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Follow the guidance of your heart today.
Trust its leanings, desires, and motivations.
Be your true self.
Listen to yourself and see where it leads you-
where you lead you.
Speak sincerely from your heart.
Take your time and say what you mean.
Let all you do today be honest.
Do nothing falsely.
Watch with your whole being.
Watch yourself.
Be true to yourself.
Pay attention to yourself and see who you are
-who you really are-
and marvel.

Be open and receptive.
Allow yourself to meet and greet new ideas.
Keep open the door to inspiration and learning.
Hold your wisdom and knowledge lightly
but with appreciation, and allow new
wisdom and insight to be revealed.
Be confident in your path. Know that you offer
much through your personality, character,
accumulated knowledge and understanding.
Listen for guidance.
Be ready to offer your creativity and passion.
Today, let life come to you.
Meet it with joy and optimism.
Remember that divine work is being done
through you and others.
Watch with humble appreciation and gratitude
as the day unfolds.

God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Forgive yourself.
Relax into your humanity.
Relax and keep on relaxing.
Allow tension to be released.
Breathe calmly and let all striving rest,
even while working diligently.
Connect with whatever is enjoyable.
Let your divine nature come through as you
hold back judgement, jealousy or negativity.
Feel your own holiness.
Accept your life as a gift.
Just be, without any goal or angst.
Relax and rest in me
as you accept things as they are now,
as you accept what was then.
If there is unhappiness, don’t disturb it;
connect with your place of joy today.
It need not be demonstrated.
Just recognize joy and let it
roam through you freely,
even when confronted by pain
or challenging emotions.
Claim the freedom found in forgiveness
and the power discovered in joy.
Forgive and be joyous.
Let go and allow your divine
inner light to shine.
Relax.
It’s all okay.

God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Be patient, kind and loving.
Acknowledge where you find this challenging.
Then gather strength of spirit,
will of mind,
and resolve of soul,
and push into the love
that you are to share.
Take no offence today.
Just offer love and kindness.
Pour out kindness and
let love flow into all you do and say.
Let patience sit within you
like the still water of a calm lake.
Do not be deterred today.
Hold on. It is worth the effort.
You’ll see.
Oh, one more thing…
Virtue is it’s own reward.
You’ll see.

God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Be content.
Be content about where you are in your life.
Rest in knowing you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
The divine unfolding never makes an error.
I am love, and love’s intent fills all creation.
Your “mistakes” appear simply as life lessons
when viewed from love’s vantage point.
You are guided by a power that loves
you with more love than you can hold
within your human frame.
The unfairness of life
tests love and loving.
But even death and suffering are not
out of the purview of my love and care.
Who you are is my gift to you.
Who you become is your gift to me.
Be.
Be content today.
Rest in who you are,
(your name here) of God.

God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Be as gentle as you can today;
be as gentle as your humanity will allow.
And then, go further-
be even more gentle.
Your strength will remain.
In fact, it takes great inner strength to be gentle.
In this you will surely be tested.
Remember that spiritual progress
demands that your ego be let go.
Use fierce love-
a love committed to love-
to burn through the layers of hardness.
Summon the great strength that I have
already placed within you
You can do it.
Have no doubts.
It may even be somewhat amusing and fun,
if you stay awake to the tricks of your ego
and do not let it
Edge God Out.
Be gentle…
Be gentle…
Be gentle.

God, what would you have me say and do today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Be a soft breeze.
Speak gently,
and move without hurry.
Take your time.
Caress the day and all it holds
with the lightness of your being.
Even the weightiest conversations
and challenges can be met with this lightness
when you remember I am holding it all.
Breathe in with appreciation.
Resolve to stay even keeled
and mellow,no matter the chaos
around you
or in you.
For today,
leave it with me.
Look out on the world
through eyes of love
and heart of kindness.
Speak and act from this posture.
Are you willing to do this today?

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Be quiet.
Be the master of your mind today.
Do not let it think whatever it wants.
Quiet the loud thoughts
and discern my voice.
Attune your hearing to the vast
inner depths of your being.
Let all occurrences be filtered through this portal.
Sift the day through divine grace.
Listen with your heart.
Think with your heart.
Act and speak from the quiet depths
of your soul.
Sound love through your lips.

with gratitude
as quiet becomes the powerful voice of your being.

God, what would you have me say and do today?
Be kind to yourself.
You are doing the best you can.
Have compassion for your own troubles.
Be patient, and know that
I am in the midst of them
with love and light on your behalf.
Do not get ruffled when unexpected events
challenge your peace.
Remember that you are already greatly blessed.
Facing challenges can help you grow
into a more beautiful creation.
Love your life.
Stay joyful; bear everything with humility.
Ups and downs come
like waves in the sea and
I move in them all,
working with all things for good.
Se be patient, loving and kind

This was another example of a guidance becoming more meaningful and powerful as the day wore on.
Today I encountered unexpected expenses. My daughter’s car windows became inoperative-they were down, and it was raining! I also received a bill for an unexpected hike in her college tuition. Then there came a new car insurance bill. Throw in a couple more unexpected financial costs (appliance repairs) that suddenly came knocking and you get the general downpour of my day.
Of course, these aren’t earthshaking events, but they are part of the daily adventure through life’s little troubles. Navigating these choppy waves took me out of my natural rhythm,so I followed the first line of my guidance and was kind to myself. For me, it meant taking a deep breath and realizing I could get back to my work in due course. It also meant being grateful for the means to attend to these things.
Later, I decided to cook a special dinner for my wife and me. Chicken curry anyone?
And most importantly, in the midst of it all, I reminded myself that I do love my life.
